An Ignoble Tale (Act 1.1)

He left from where he was standing by Violet and stepped outside.

Violet watched the flame for a bit before she looked down at her hands, her ears twitching.

Audren looked around the clearing.

From her pocket she pulled out the odd necklace she had found when she first arrived.

The blood was still on it, though slightly more faded than last time.

"Hm..." She lifted it up a bit, inspecting it carefully.

There were odd, intricate designs all over the V-like shape.

She looked at the blood, then at the designs, biting her lip in thought.

A dull shine could be also seen from just the right angle.

She turned it slowly, her ears twitching.

The string around the necklace was also colored black, and pretty much plain.

She ran a finger across the necklace. She lifted the string a bit, looking at the necklace as a whole.

There wasn't much else to say, it was just.. there.

She looked at it another moment before putting it back in her pocket.

Meanwhile, Audren had gone to heating up his sword to repair the damages to it.

She got to her feet, going outside.

He had put on a black, leather glove and was channeling fire to the glove to heat it up to the point where as soon as the blade was touched, the temperature of the glove made the blade's surface give off a sort of "hissing" sound.

She looked over to him, watching him do this.

Audren was too busy concentrating on fixing the sword to notice her.

Her ears twitched a bit.

He took his hand off the sword and blew the smoke from the now charred glove.

She leaned against the outside wall of the cave.

Audren used his other hand to lay the sword against a tree and kneeled down to inspect it.

"Hm,"

She scratched her head a bit.

Audren took off the glove and watched it vanish into ashes.

"Well, I think I used a bit more heat than necessary.."
