An Ignoble Tale (Act 1.2)

She continued to toss the coin and hum.

She lowered her head, putting a hand on her head.

"Hm.."

Her eyes narrowed a bit and she looked off into the trees.

She soon put the coin back into her satchel and went to sit against a tree.

"Hmph..." She lowered her hand and turned away, looking off at the town.

They weren't too far from it by now, even though the only thing that could really be seen in the darkness was the brief flicker of the light from some lamps.

She sighed a bit and went and climbed into a tree.

Aserl was starting to nod off as she sat against the tree.

She hated being this close to a town. She held onto a branch and decided just to wait here.

She set her satchel beside her and fell asleep.

She rested her head on her arms, looking off at a distant lamp's light.

The distant flame inside the lamp's casing just kept flickering.

She just kept her eyes on it, focusing on that now.

The glow became green briefly, just like a few days ago.

She tilted her head a bit.

The glow then returned to normal soon after.

She frowned a bit.

A gust of wind blew some leaves across the ground.

She sighed quietly, clawing at the tree branch idly.

The leaves just kept on blowing across the road into the trees, again.

She lowered her ears a bit.

The moon sort of just loomed in the sky, clouds obscuring it somewhat.

She frowned, stripping the bark from the branch.

Audren was being well.. himself and Aserl was asleep. Violet wasn't going to sleep anytime soon so there wasn't really much to say.
