An Ignoble Tale (Act 2.1)

It was midday by the time they actually reached the town that our previous "heroes" had visited briefly a week or two before.

"I hate... walking..." she mumbled.

"If it makes you feel any better it appears we're not too far from a town," he said, looking at her.

"That is good at least..."

"Too bad we have no idea what we're gonna do for the rest of the day." He said, still looking at her.

She shrugged a bit. "Oh well."

"We'll think of something as always," he said, walking into the town.

She adjusted her hood as she looked around.

He didn't pay much mind to the people going about their daily business around them.

She kept a watchful eye and made sure her sleeves were over her hands.

Axel flipped his hood over his head and made sure his sleeves were covering his hands as he folded his arms.

She looked back at Axel.

He had his head down, using his hood to obscure his face.

She sighed as she turned away.

He didn't exactly have an idea what direction he was walking in, and relied on Terra's footsteps to guide him.

She didn't really care where they were going and was kind of just wandering around.

That seemed to be the plan for the time being.

She didn't really care either way.

They sort of just wandered around in circles for a while which made a few people confused, and their peculiar appearances didn't help much either.

"What are we even doing here?" she eventually asked Axel.

He lifted his head up. "I'm not completely sure, I figured we might as well do something to kill the time."

"Like?"

He shrugged. "It's up to you, really. We still have daylight to burn."

She looked up at the sky, sighing slightly.

They've been walking around for at least two hours now.
