An Ignoble Tale (Act 2.1)

"Right, I suppose." He said, putting his hand down.

She nodded and headed right.

He followed after her.

She put her arms behind her back, holding her wrist as she walked along.

He once again went to adjusting the sleeves on his robe.

She glance back at him, then ahead again, frowning slightly.

All that could be seen ahead of the road they were walking on was just more of the road, and trees which were off to the sides.

She sighed and her right ear flicked slightly.

He scratched his head and looked around.

"Why is it so damn bright," she mumbled.

He shrugged. "We could just travel under the trees, if you'd prefer that."

"That would be much better."

He nodded and moved over to the side of the road, under the trees.

She walked over into the shade.

He glanced up at the branches hanging from the trees.

Since she was so damn tall she was slouching a bit because back in those days people didn't cut low branches because no one cared.

Axel looked over at Terra and raised an eyebrow.

She glanced over to him. "What?..."

"Trees giving you trouble?"

He said with a chuckle.

"Yes, a b-" She got a face full of a low twig covered with leaves as she'd straightened up slightly without realising it. She pushed the leaves away and made sure to watch where she was walking as she spoke again, "Yes, a bit."

"Not much I can do about that, I'm afraid."

She sighed and her ears flicked a bit in frustration.

He tapped his chin, looking up at the branches.

She frowned at the trees around them.

"If you want I could give you a back massage after we get out of these trees. Slouching over like that for long periods of time isn't exactly recommended." He said casually.
